Love this jacket. Love love love it. I'm just not sure I love it on her. She's nailed the vintage 70's leather + floral shirt combo, but on her shape, the jacket would be more flattering if it finished at the bottom of her hips. I also probably wouldn't button it up the top, because it gives the illusion of an upside-down V, which pear shapes definitely don't need. But really, I'm not complaining, I'm just glad she looks happy and healthy and hopefully soon, she'll settle her yo-yoing body into a nice flat line.

There's something about stars we've seen on TV since they were teenagers in an overstyled American TV show. We expect them to stay forever in their unbelieveably thin, dewy-skinned, glossy-haired state. And when they go off the rails, using substances to try in their own twisted way to remain young and beautiful, we get angry. I'm going to try really really hard not to judge based on appearance. Just by style. I'm sure you'll let me know how I'm going!

She really tried to get away with this, didn't she. The Peter Pan ankle boot - with rollover. A never, in my book. Not sometimes, not with a different outfit, not on a tall person. Just never. Peter Pan ankle boots are fine - Chloe did a beautiful pair last season - but the big rollover is comical, bordering on ridiculous, especially on Salma. I'd still kill for her hair though, she sexifies a bob like nobody else can.

Yesterday Gawker sparked a plastic surgery debate, asking, if there's so much news about bad surgeries, why do people still insist on getting work done? They illustrated it with the funniest video, starring Heidi Montag who makes fun of herself, her life and her surgeries while saying something about credit cards - but god it's hard to listen to someone when all you can do is stare in amazement at her overhawked features! (this, on a day when Mattel introduced a revamped Barbie with such big eyes in comparison to her head that if she were real, she'd have to have eyes the size of tennis balls to be in the same proportion to her head as the doll now is). Nice message. Alien Barbie. But watch the video, it's like watching a train wreck. You can't really drag your eyes away.

Ron Howard directed it. He must have been paid a MOTZA, is all I can say.

I listened to Audrina on the Kyle & Jackie O show this morning (another empty headed reality star who gets paid to say things like, "like") and even she thinks Heidi looks weird. Like "an old person who's had surgery to stay young". Which is exactly the effect you don't want, right? Not when you actually ARE young - 23 is not an age to be having 10 surgeries. What's she going to do at 40? Get a new head?

I'm feeling especially generous this morning folks and I'm just going to put it out there - do you think all her skirts are so tiny 'cause her legs are so long and what is a vagina-skimming skirt for Taylor, is a knee-length skirt for the rest of us? Possibly.

Now I'm just worried about her puppy ... sure, he's got airholes, but he doesn't look too happy in there.

Ankle zips and pointy heels. I remember when I was about 11, I had a pair of bright yellow skinny jeans that I loved with ankle zips. No pointy heels back then but god, they would have gone together perfectly now that I think about it!

So Lindsay Lohan is in Paris for the shows but didn't go to the Ungaro show. She said to WWD that she wasn't there "because I don't work for them anymore." When asked for more detail she added: "There's legal things going on; I can't really discuss it."

Rubber and high waisted leggings do not a good mix make. Leggings are not pants, especially not high waisted pants! Her dark hair serves her well though - much less trailer trash than the blonde.



... with this fuck-off draped black dress, opaques and suede heels combo. This is what maketh a star. Dishevelled sexy is so copyable. You instantly want to be a part of whatever makes up the outfit. How do I get a dress that is draped so perfectly in all the right places and seems to drip down one shoulder to pool at her feet? I love that she's paired it with opaques as well ... unexpected but seriously good.

Is it true? If Twitter pics are to be believed it is! Karl Lagerfeld just showed models walking in fake fur amongst  a real iceberg, flown in from Sweden. Shoes were lost in the water which seemed to amuse the crowd but the most important message from the man whose brought us real fur at Fendi every season, is that fake fur is finally in fashion. That deserves a woo hoo!
