What is it? Khaki
Why do I care? Because it's going to be huge this year. Huge. Big, as in winter Olympics big.
Where have you seen it: On all the important catwalks: Balenciaga, Balmain, Chloe, Phoebe Philo for Celine.
What should I buy? The military jacket will be everywhere in khaki, but anything from a coat to a pair of skinny jeans like Rihanna's, above, will work. In fact, I love Rihanna's skinnies more than a jacket.
When do I start? As soon as you can my dear! Get ahead of the rest, there's nothing like being first with a trend and watching your friends look at you strangely until they cotton onto it months later. It's called fashion-scooping.
Why is Rihanna not wearing platforms? Because stilettos, or more delicate versions of platforms, are coming back slowly. Start to get your head around 'em.

Sorry Rihanna, sorry Nedahl, skinny jeans only look good if you have VERY skinny thighs and don't try putting things in your pockets, don't tuck your shirt in and don't wear them in horrible army green. Maybe I'm just jealous because I'm not skinny enough to wear skinny jeans!!

Okay I hear you, you're not loving. Neither was I at first but trends have a funny way of getting under your skin and I'm just warning this colour will be everywhere in a few months. You'll wake up one day in August and pull on a khaki jacket then think "how the hell did this happen?" Swear xxx

While I love the colour, I'm so glad I'm not the only person who saw this picture and thought "awful jeans!!"
this is one trend im not following no matter how big...khaki will forever be ugly army green in my wardrobe!
