From the "what will they think of next" files comes this gold nugget: TOE THINNING SURGERY.
Sorry to shout, but really? Your toes are too fat?
What next?
There is no next, this is the end of the end as far as I'm concerned, we can only pedal backwards from here.
As reported on Good Morning America, requests are coming in thick and fast for toe thinning surgery.
Seriously!
Any surgery on your feet is not recommended, all surgeons agree on this. You'd have to have a very severe condition for it to be advised. An operation on your feet can put you out for months and if something goes wrong, even longer. Would you really have surgery so you can fit your little sausage toes into a pair of Louboutins? How f$#&ed up would you have to be in the head to think that this is going to make a difference in your world?
I'm not saying toes don't get fat - they do. When I put on weight, I put it on all over, so even my feet puff up, and when I lose it, they get skinnier too (it could actually be down to bloating from eating less starch/salt/sugar but I'm pretty sure it's fat). But I'm not going to go and get SURGERY on my TOES.
Would you?
PIC NOTE: The toes in this shot did not have surgery as far as I know, and are from a style blog who I would credit because I absolutely LOVE this shot, but I can't remember where it's from, it was a Pin. If it's your blog, please take credit, 'cause these shoes, and your feet, are particularly awesome.
