This L'Oreal ad was banned in Britain for making Rachel Weisz "misleading attractive"

I wouldn't even think this was one of the worse examples, but the British Advertising Standards Authority has banned this print ad for it "misleading exaggerating" how the product works. A member of the British parliament, Jo Swinson, initially complained about the ad which claims to make skin "look smoother" and the "complexion more even". Of course, photoshop was used to make the skin look smoother and her complexion more even, not the product!

The Authority also asked L’Oreal to stop using post production techniques (that means photoshop) that “misrepresented what was achievable using the advertised product.”

I'm just glad that governments, at least one member of which in Britian, is taking notice and DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

I mean, do we really believe that products made to make us look younger/ smoother/ less wrinkled which are then advertised with naturally-porcelain-skinned women will actually work? Everyone gets suckered in at some point, and parts with plenty of $$ in search of the perfect potion, so it's about time the companies responsible were pulled apart for lying to us even more.

What are your thoughts on beauty companies photoshopping women with the pure intent of selling products, without any thought as to the truth of the photograph?
