Now, I don't know what came over the WAGS of the AFL this year, but most of them wore a wannabe wedding dress on the red carpet. This should not be a trend, I should not be able to do a whole post about this, but unfortunately, I can.

Some of them looked fantastic, like Tania Buckley, above. What an excellent dress, wedding or otherwise. But some of the others didn't fare so well.

Quite honestly, where did Nicole Petrie think she was going? The red carpet is not an aisle, this is not their second wedding. Everything from the neckline to the sash to the lace overlay spells far too bridal.

I mean, if you want a second wedding Melissa Milne, just ask. The train just takes it into way, way into bridal territory.

Good. Lord. I think I have to show you the back for you to fully grasp the seriousness of this situation.

I mean, really? REALLY? Lauren Gear, this is not your Kate Middleton moment.

At least this is a nice wedding dress. And look, she added a belt to make it not so bridal (ahem).

Does being pregnant make it less bridal? Or is it just shotgun bridal? Felicity Harley looks beautiful, whichever the case.
