Though lovely, it's not my favourite look of Miranda's. And can I just say I am really not digging all of this slinky, silky, satiny, bridesmaidy evening looks that keep popping up. It's all well and good on the Vanity Fair cover as an ensemble, but singularly like on Miranda here and on Vanessa Paradis at the Paris shows, well, I can't get past that 18-year-old bridesmaid thing. Will I learn to love it? Do you already?

Rachael Taylor is Australia's best new export, don't you think? Look at this fabulous dress with nude fishnet panels. It's heaven. And she wears it so well with that hair. I can't wait til she hits the big, big time. It'll happen.

Megan Gale is just flawless on the red carpet. She always dresses for her shape wonderfully and is the ultimate glamazon.

Cate Blanchett, of course, kills it in the fashion stakes. She is uncomparable. Nobody even comes close. How amazing is this neckline?

I'm in two minds about Asher Keddie's frock. I love it, the fabric is gorgeous and that top netting is beautiful, but I do wish the bottom half wasn't quite so cut off. Or if it was, it should be higher, so it doesn't look like a skirt stuck on a mini dress.

This is a beautiful dress Emma Booth is wearing. It's just the completely wrong colour for her, as are those shoes.
