Can you hear it? It's the sound of velour creeping up on us. Softly, slowly, so we don't even notice it. But it's a-coming.
When I first saw Nicole Richie in the below green mini a few weeks ago, I ignored it. Style glitch, I thought, it happens to the best of us.
But then when I spotted velour on Kate Moss and just this morning saw Nicole in the black, draped velour dress, above, I just knew it.
It's a-coming ladies. Are you ready for velour? Maybe by next autumn/winter we will be. At least we have that long to get used to it, poor ladies in the northern hemisphere won't know what's hit 'em.
