I'm quite fascinated with the way Miley Cyrus is dressing herself lately. A total image overhaul on such a young person is like watching a coming-of-age story in real time, rather publicly. She's discovering who she is, trying out different looks, clothes and hairstyles of all kinds. Trying to figure out what suits her, the person, best. Not Miley the superstar, not Hannah Montana. It's who is Miley? In a wardrobe fest.

At the moment she's kind of a girly punk rocker. She'll wear flowers and lace, but with big chunky boots and a shaved head. She'll go designer, but only if the designer works with her current punk motif. There are nods to feminity, the pink glasses, the blue bag, but ultimately she wants you to know that she's changed. She's all grown up.

It's amazing what a makeover can say about your inner self, innit?
