Hmm. Do I spot a trend emerging here?
First, Gwyneth wore a very covered pair of flats around and about LA. Then Miranda Kerr wore extremely chunky flats whilst in New Zealand. And now Gwyneth has teamed her short sleeved mini with these. Weird flats.
Are thick-leathered flats having a moment? Is it their time to shine? And if they do become big, will you wear them?
I don't think I'll be jumping on this bandwagon.
While stick-legged celebrities might be able to get away with a chunky flat shoe, I fear the rest of us will just look like badly dressed tourists. Steer clear unless you too have legs toned personally by Tracey Anderson and feast on goji berries while drinking Tahitian noni juice.
Besides the kind of flat she's wearing, I do love that Gwyneth gets away with a cute dress, no toe polish and relaxed hair whilst at a private movie screening in LA. Summer dressing. Doncha jus' love it!
