I think if we all looked like this in pyjama pants, there'd be less of a backlash against the trend, don't you think? Miranda's outfit is deceptively simple. She's cleverly used colour to tie things together. Let's take a look, shall we?
She starts with a base of what she wants to wear on the plane - a loose white singlet and printed pyjama pants which tick both the stylish and comfort boxes. So we know she'll be sitting pretty while cooped up (cough cough) in first class.
Then she adds a blazer for instant polish, plus a bag in a matching shade to the pants. Easy peasy. The final weapon in her outfit armour is a pair of nude heels, which you know she'll kick off the instant she gets on the flight.
Of course, it helps that she doesn't have to lug her baggage behind her, like we all do, and also doesn't overfill her large tote to carry on the plane, like I usually do at the last minute with an extra book or three plus a packet of Maltesers and a giant bottle of water. Somehow, being able to tone down the luggage makes you extra chic, non?
