That Karl Lagerfeld, he's just so damn practical. Honestly. He really goes out of his way to create things that make perfect sense. I don't know how he does it!
Here's his explanation of why he made that (rather fabulous) Chanel bag inside two hula hoops.
“It’s for the beach. You need space for the beach towel, huh? And then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it, and things like that. The bathing suit with it was the only thing with the Chanel logo, there was no logo.”
