After attending the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week in Sydney in 2010, Sara, 22, felt a strong desire to be part of “the madness” and relocated to the harbour city from Brisbane. She hasn’t looked back. Aside from working to promote Australian brands in the blogosphere, Sara’s biggest blogging highlights are receiving many thanks from featured designers and keeping her posse of dedicated blog followers smiling about her latest It finds. Describe your blog in one sentence. A collective of online shopping finds, trends and street style.
When and why did you start blogging? I started my blog almost three years ago after getting hooked on other blogs. I wanted to be part of this community and voice my opinions in a space of my own.
Who are some of your personal favorite bloggers right now? My favourites are Style by Kling, 4th and Bleeker, Hanneli, Buro24/7 and In Search of Little Sadie as they are all very inspirational and I love the way they put their looks together.
How would you describe your own personal style? Most of the time I aim for effortless chic, but then sometimes it will go more towards rebelious 'model off duty'.
What is your must-have piece at the moment? A pastel pink Lover blazer. It works so well with whites and neutrals.
What are the fashion staples you think every girl should own? A basic white tee, ballet flats, no-frills shift dress and A-line skirt. All these ever-reliable pieces can be easily paired with something fabulous to completely change their look.
Your bag of the moment? I would love to get my hands on a Benah bag in pistachio!
Your # 1 fashion Do and Don’t? Don't dress head to toe in a trend, always put your own spin on it. Do feel comfortable in what you're wearing, as it will show!
What trend do you wish would just shrivel up and die? Denim shorts where you can see bottom cheeks... cringe!!!
What are you currently crushing on? Stella McCartney's SS12 Collection. The shapes and curves of the collection are to die for.
