More on Rachel Zoe - looking amazing at Vera Wang LA
Thursday, March 04, 2010 AT 3:55 AM

It must be hard dressing yourself when you're Rachel Zoe. First of all, there's so much pressure! The expectation that you're going to be better dressed than anyone in the whole room must be huge. But mostly, she'd find it difficult 'cause she's so thin! In an episode of the RZ Project I watched the other day, her husband (gay Rodg), her hair & makeup guy and her employee Brad were all sitting around watching her try on outfit after outfit and giving their opinion. Anything that showed her bony chest was clearly a no, which cast out 90% of the dresses she was trying on. She pretty much only had one option. A bit sad, but her own fault. Funnily enough it was also one-shouldered. The one-shoulder flashes skin, but not your collarbones which is what she's after. Watch her from now on and see how many one-shouldered dresses she has.

This particular one-shouldered outfit is, to quote the woman herself, to die for. Layers of sheer, ruffled organza in white and black with a black elastic belt (thank god I've never thrown mine away, it always makes an appearance every few years or so), the black clutch and standout white ring make a divine outfit. Divine. She's at the opening of Vera Wang in LA.

She looks absoutely gorgeous! All that plumage reminds me of a graceful swan. Just beautiful! (Not even going near the weight story - it's hers to tell, not for me to surmise and then judge...)

No there's a point where being skinny in unhealthy and by saying it's okay - is not okay. I'm only 56kg and know that if I miss a meal I start losing an arm, lol. I prefer to look healthy and prefer to keep a healthy heart and all the rest. RZl looks fabulous here because of the ruffles and heels giving her curves and weight. With her wages she has help everywhere she turns to get her eating on the right track... just excuses RZ! xx

I actually do believe her when she said she doesn't have a eating disorder but she doesn't enjoy eating as much other people do and when she's working she can completely forget about eating. I have the same problem too. I'm boney as much as I wish I could have a bit more meat it's hard to put on weight when you've lost an amount of weight beyond a certain threshold. It's similar to people trying to lose weight, once you've lost a certain amount of weight, it becomes three times as hard trying to lose further.
p.s love Vera!
